I Wham! sono stati un duo pop britannico formatosi nel 1981 e attivo fino al 1986, composto da George Michael e Andrew Ridgeley.
Influenzati da funk, soul e pop degli anni ’80, presentarono un’immagine di “bad boys” ribelli, affrontando temi come disoccupazione giovanile e angoscia adolescenziale nel debutto Fantastic (1983). Il secondo album Make It Big (1984) li consacrò globalmente, con oltre 30 milioni di dischi venduti, grazie a hit come “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”, “Careless Whisper” e “Everything She Wants”, tutte n.1 nelle classifiche USA.
